The Lady Golden Rams are no strangers to the Border Clash, as they also began their 2024 campaign at this event. In last year's meet, Albany State placed fourth overall, with four runners finishing inside the top 30, setting the tone for a strong season. With a mix of experienced returners and promising newcomers, ASU is aiming to improve on last year's performance and establish early momentum heading into the 2025 cross country schedule.

Head Coach Ken Taylor expressed confidence in the team's preparation, noting that the Border Clash serves as both a valuable measuring stick and a chance to compete against quality opponents at the start of the season.
