Jacksonville, FL – Just days after delivering a gritty performance at the SIAC Track & Field Championships, the Albany State University Men's and Women's Track & Field teams laced up once again—this time on the grand stage of the University of North Florida's East Coast Relays, facing off against elite competition from across all collegiate divisions, including DI powerhouses, NAIA standouts, and club teams. The Golden Rams, undeterred by the depth of the field, rose to the occasion and left their mark with fast times, top finishes, and national recognition.
Among the headliners for Albany State was
Kibren Moore, who continued to prove himself as one of the premier sprinters in NCAA Division II. Moore clocked an impressive 10.28 seconds in the Men's 100-meter dash, finishing 4th overall in a heat stacked with D1 and professional talent. His time places him among the top DII sprinters in the country.
In the Women's 400-meter hurdles,
Nathalia Rowe delivered a career-defining performance, finishing 2nd overall with a time of 58.83 seconds. That mark not only places her #2 in the HBCU Outdoor College Rankings, but also elevates her to #4 in NCAA Division II—cementing her as one of the best in the nation.
In relay action, the Men's 4x100-meter Relay (Squad A)—composed of
Jayvon Hutchinson,
Kibren Moore,
Demario Jackson, and
Malachi Fletcher—blazed to a 2nd-place finish with a time of 40.35 seconds, showing Albany State's elite sprint depth. The Women's 4x100-meter Relay (Squad A) also held strong against elite competition, with
Dasia Gilyard,
Cadence Cray,
Taniyah Kelley, and
Jeniya Lawrence placing 5th overall in 45.94 seconds.
To cap off the meet, the Women's 4x400-meter Relay—featuring
Nathalia Rowe,
Dasia Gilyard,
Cadence Cray, and
Zenay Rhaney—claimed a 3rd-place finish with a season-best time of 3:44.66, showing poise and tenacity against some of the nation's strongest squads.

Albany State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II-level intercollegiate athletic program. The university currently fields teams in 11 sports: women's volleyball, women's tennis, women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, softball, men's and women's track and field, women's soccer, baseball, and football. All teams compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), except women's soccer, which participates in the Peach Belt Conference.
