Golden Rams Track & Field Set for East Coast Relays at UNF, May 2–3

Albany, GAThe Albany State University Men's and Women's Track & Field teams are headed to the Sunshine State to compete in the highly competitive East Coast Relays, hosted by the University of North Florida on May 2–3 at the Visit Jax Track at Hodges Stadium in Jacksonville. The Golden Rams will look to build on their recent momentum after impressive showings at the 2025 SIAC Track & Field Championships, where the women finished 2nd overall and the men claimed 3rd place.

The East Coast Relays are a two-day competition featuring premier NCAA Division I, II, and NAIA programs, offering the Golden Rams an opportunity to compete against top-tier talent ahead of potential postseason qualification.

Friday, May 2 – Evening Session

  • 2:00 PM: Men's Hammer Throw
  • 5:00 PM: Women's Hammer Throw
  • 6:00 PM: 400m Hurdles (W/M) – Finals
  • 6:30 PM: 200m (W/M) – Finals
  • 7:30 PM: 1500m (W/M) – Finals
  • 9:10 PM: 5000m (W/M) – Invite Section

Saturday, May 3 – Full Day

  • 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Sprint Prelims (100H/110H/100m – W/M)
  • 12:00 PM: 4x100m Relay (W/M) – Finals
  • 12:30 PM: 800m (W/M) – Finals
  • 1:30 PM – 2:10 PM: Sprint Hurdles & 400m Finals
  • 3:00 PM: 100m (W/M) – Finals
  • 3:30 PM: 4x400m Relay (W/M) – Finals

ABOUT ALBANY STATE ATHLETICS
Albany State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II-level intercollegiate athletic program. The university currently fields teams in 11 sports: women's volleyball, women's tennis, women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, softball, men's and women's track and field, women's soccer, baseball, and football. All teams compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), except women's soccer, which participates in the Peach Belt Conference.
