Albany, GA – The stage is set, and the stakes are high as the NCAA officially announced the qualifiers for the 2025 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on Monday, May 13. Among the nation's elite athletes, six standout student-athletes from Albany State University have earned their ticket to compete on the grand stage in Pueblo, Colorado, from May 22–24.
After a season filled with personal bests, national rankings, and championship grit, the Golden Rams will be well represented at the national meet, a proud moment for the entire ASU community.
2025 NCAA National Championship Qualifiers
- Kibren Moore (100m Dash, 200m Dash, 4x100m Relay)- A dual threat on the straightaway and the curve, Moore has consistently ranked among the top sprinters in Division II this season, highlighted by a blazing 10.25 in the 100m and a 20.51 in the 200m—one of the fastest times in program history.
- Jayvon Hutchinson (110m Hurdles, 4x100m Relay)- A veteran leader and hurdle technician, Hutchinson earned his bid with a sharp 14.03 in the 110m hurdles, proving he's ready to make his mark against the nation's best. He also anchors the nationally ranked 4x100 squad.
- Demario Jackson (4x100m Relay)- A rising star with explosive speed, Jackson plays a vital role in pushing the baton to new heights for the Golden Rams' relay dominance.
- Micah Forsythe (4x100m Relay)- Forsythe adds strength and consistency to the relay unit, rounding out a squad that posted a season-best 40.23 at the SIAC Championships—currently among the top times in the country.
- Cadence Cray (200m Dash)- One of the top young talents in Division II, Cray powered her way to a 23.43 finish at the SIAC Championships, earning her spot in the women's 200m field. She brings unmatched poise and potential into her first national appearance.
- Nathalia Rowe (400m Hurdles)- Rowe, a seasoned competitor and East Coast Relays silver medalist, qualified with an outstanding 58.83—currently ranked No. 2 among HBCUs. She looks to close her collegiate career with a championship-caliber performance.
The 2025 NCAA DII Outdoor National Championship Meet will be held at the ThunderBowl on the campus of Colorado State University–Pueblo. With altitude, elite talent, and high energy in play, Albany State's qualifiers are poised to shine.

ABOUT ALBANY STATE ATHLETICS
Albany State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II-level intercollegiate athletic program. The university currently fields teams in 11 sports: women's volleyball, women's tennis, women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, softball, men's and women's track and field, women's soccer, baseball, and football. All teams compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), except women's soccer, which participates in the Peach Belt Conference.
