Albany, Ga. – The Albany State University Lady Golden Rams volleyball team will open the 2025 season on the road at the Bobcat Classic, hosted by Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga., on September 5–6. The tournament marks the second consecutive season Albany State begins its campaign at the Bobcat Classic, following a competitive 2-2 finish in 2024, which included victories over Young Harris (3-1) and Southern Wesleyan (3-1).
This year's field will once again provide a strong early-season test for the Lady Golden Rams. Across the two-day tournament, Albany State is set to face Rollins College, Emory & Henry University, Young Harris College, and Georgia College.
The Bobcat Classic will serve as an opportunity for the Lady Golden Rams to showcase their depth and prepare for SIAC competition by competing against a challenging mix of regional opponents. Building off last year's experience and early momentum, Albany State looks to set the tone for a successful 2025 campaign.
