Albany, GA – Head Coach Verniece Graham and the Albany State University Lady Rams have announced their schedule for the 2025 volleyball season. With a challenging and diverse set of matches ahead, the Lady Rams aim to build on their championship culture and strive for another successful campaign in the SIAC.
The season begins on September 5-6 at the Georgia College Tournament in Milledgeville, GA, where Albany State will face off against a competitive lineup including Rollins College, Emory & Henry, Young Harris, and the host team, Georgia College. The following weekend, the Rams hit the road again for the UNC Pembroke Tournament (September 12-13) with matchups against Virginia State, Wingate, Coker, and tournament host UNC Pembroke.
Albany State returns home on September 16 to host Middle Georgia State University in their home opener, followed by a September 19 match against Allen University, also at home. The Lady Rams will then host the SIAC Crossover Tournament from September 25-26 in Albany, taking on conference opponents Tuskegee, Miles College, Kentucky State, and Central State.
Conference play continues on the road with a match against Clark Atlanta University on September 30, followed by a return home to face Fort Valley State University on October 3. The Lady Rams then head to Memphis, TN, for another SIAC Crossover Tournament (October 10-11), where they will battle Lane College, LeMoyne-Owen, and powerhouse Spring Hill College.
The rest of October includes key conference matchups against Benedict College (Oct. 14), Savannah State (Oct. 21), Edward Waters (Oct. 23), and Clark Atlanta (Oct. 30), with a road trip to Fort Valley State on October 31.
In November, the Lady Rams will face Middle Georgia State again on November 4 and compete in a tri-match against Clinton College and Point University in West Point, GA, on November 7. Albany State will return home for a special Senior Night matchup against Benedict College on November 9, followed by back-to-back conference contests at home against Edward Waters (Nov. 11) and on the road at Savannah State (Nov. 13) and Allen University (Nov. 15) to close out the regular season.
The 2025 SIAC Volleyball Tournament is scheduled to take place from November 20 to 22 in Mobile, Alabama, with seeding to be announced at a later date.
With a solid blend of non-conference tournaments, home-court advantages, and high-stakes SIAC matchups, the Lady Rams aim to make a statement this season and compete for a conference title. Select games this season will also be featured on streaming platforms to increase visibility for the program.
