MOBILE, ALA – The Albany State Rams (1-2, 0-0 SIAC) got their first win of the season in a 3-0 win over Spring Hill College (0-4, 0-0).
 
Thuto Ramafifi scored the first goal for ASU at 34:41 in the first period.  Alexa Vivas Castro would follow with a second goal at 63:12 into the second half.  Ambar Riquelme would round out the scoring at 83:04 in the second half.
 
The Golden Rams were aggressive, taking 17 shots in the game.  Both teams took six in the first half, but the Golden Rams would be aggressive with 11 shots in the second half.
 
Monique Christian tended goal the entire game allowing no goals in the contest. 
 
ASU will travel to Jacksonville, FL on Thursday to take on the Tigers of Edward Waters University at 6:00 PM.
