The Lady Golden Rams (1-2) enter the contest riding momentum from their first win of the season, a commanding 3-0 victory over LaGrange College on Sept. 17. Albany State will look to build on that performance and carry their home-field energy into conference play.
Meanwhile, Lander (3-1-4) enters the matchup on the heels of a narrow 1-0 win over Tusculum on September 17. The Lady Bearcats have demonstrated early-season consistency, utilizing a balanced attack and defensive discipline to remain unbeaten in their last three outings.
Series History
Lander currently holds a 3-2 series lead over Albany State. In the most recent meeting on Nov. 2, 2024, the Lady Golden Rams fell 0-5 to the Bearcats. However, ASU has proven it can rise to the challenge, with its last win in the series coming in a dominant 4-0 shutout on October 16, 2021.
