Albany, GA — The Albany State University baseball team returns home for one final time this regular season, hosting Kentucky State University for a pivotal three-game SIAC series and home finale at the ASU West Campus Baseball Complex. The series opens with a doubleheader on Friday, April 18 at 3:00 PM ET, and concludes with a single game on Saturday, April 19 at 11:00 AM, which will also feature Senior Day festivities as the Golden Rams honor their graduating student-athletes.
The Golden Rams (22-18, 17-10 SIAC) enter the series with momentum after a dominant road sweep over Miles College last weekend. Albany State has historically controlled the head-to-head matchup, holding a 21-7 all-time series lead over Kentucky State dating back to March 23, 2013. In their last meeting on May 2, 2024, the Golden Rams earned a convincing 8-2 victory. The Thorobreds' last win over Albany State came on May 13, 2022, during the SIAC Championship tournament.
