Golden Rams Return to Conference Play with Three-Game Series Against Clark Atlanta

Albany, GA – The Albany State University (ASU) baseball team is set to return to conference action this weekend as they host Clark Atlanta University (CAU) for a three-game series at the West Campus Baseball Stadium. The highly anticipated matchup will begin with a doubleheader on Saturday, March 29, starting at 1:00 PM, followed by a series finale on Sunday, March 30, at noon.
 
The Golden Rams (TBD) are looking to regroup after falling to West Alabama in a midweek non-conference matchup. Meanwhile, the Panthers (TBD) enter the series following a 1-1 split against Morris College on March 25.

Albany State holds a dominant 34-2 all-time series lead over Clark Atlanta, dating back to March 10, 2012. The Golden Rams last faced the Panthers on March 30, 2024, securing an impressive 9-5 victory. Clark Atlanta's last win over ASU came on March 31, 2017, when they edged out a 7-4 win to claim a 2-1 series victory.

ABOUT ALBANY STATE ATHLETICS
Albany State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II-level intercollegiate athletic program. The university currently field teams in 11 sports: women's volleyball, women's tennis, women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, softball, men's and women's track and field, women's soccer, baseball, and football. All teams compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), except women's soccer, which participates in the Peach Belt Conference.
