Â
In field events,
Azwan Nembhard-Belcher continues to excel, currently ranked 7th in the Triple Jump, while his contributions extend to the Men's 4x400m relay team, which is ranked 8th in the nation. The relay squad, consisting of
Malachi Fletcher,
Jace Weaver,
Adoni Nembhard-Belcher, and
Azwan Nembhard-Belcher, is proving to be a major force in Division II competition.
Â
On the women's side,
Nathalia Rowe has made a name for herself in the 400m, securing the No. 10 ranking in the nation.
Â
These rankings come on the heels of a historic 2024 season, where Albany State Men's Track & Field finished the year ranked No. 10 in the nation—the only HBCU program to crack the Top 10 in NCAA Division II. The Golden Rams are determined to build on that success and remain among the top programs in the country.
Â
As the season progresses, the Golden Rams look to climb even higher in the rankings and continue their tradition of excellence in track & field.Â
