Albany State Baseball to Face Georgia Southwestern State in Crucial Rematch

Albany, GA – The Albany State University Golden Rams baseball team is set to take on Georgia Southwestern State University in a highly anticipated rematch on March 11 at 5:00 PM at the West Campus Baseball Field in Albany, Georgia. This marks the second meeting between the two teams this season, following a close contest on March 4, where the Golden Rams fell short with a 3-4 defeat.

Coming off a challenging three-game series against Savannah State from March 7-8, where the Golden Rams were swept 0-3, the team will look to bounce back and find their rhythm at home. The Golden Rams are eager to shake off the recent setbacks and put on a competitive performance as they face the Hurricanes once again.

Meanwhile, Georgia Southwestern State enters this matchup following a hard-fought 1-2 series loss to USC Aiken. Despite the setback, the Hurricanes will look to build momentum as they travel to Albany for the rematch.

Both teams are hungry for a win, and this game presents an opportunity for either side to gain some confidence and momentum as the season progresses.
