ALBANY, Ga. – The Albany State Golden Rams hit the road for a three-game weekend series against the USC Beaufort Sandsharks in Bluffton, S.C. The series begins Friday, Feb. 7, with a single game at 5:00 PM, followed by a doubleheader on Saturday, Feb. 8, with the first pitch scheduled for 1:00 PM.
The Golden Rams (1-2) enter the series looking to bounce back after a hard-fought season-opening series against Eckerd College. Albany State secured one victory in the three-game set on Feb. 1-2 and will aim to improve their performance against the Sandsharks.
The Sandsharks (0-4) will be eager to secure their first win of the season after a tough opening series against North Greenville. USC Beaufort struggled offensively in their first four contests and will look to turn things around on their home field. The Golden Rams will need to capitalize on their momentum and limit mistakes to keep the Sandsharks at bay.
