Albany State Baseball Secures Seven Preseason All-Conference Selections, Predicted to Finish Second in SIAC

Albany, GA – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has officially released its 2025 Baseball Preseason All-Conference Teams and Predicted Order of Finish, and Albany State University is once again projected to be one of the league's top contenders.

The Golden Rams, who finished the 2024 season with an impressive 37-12 record, enter the new campaign ranked second overall in the conference and lead the SIAC with seven preseason All-Conference selections. Last season, Head Coach Scott Hemmings was named Coach of the Year, Jonathan Logsden earned Player of the Year honors, and Brady Davis was selected as Starting Pitcher of the Year—further solidifying ASU's dominance in the SIAC.

The Golden Rams landed four players on the First-Team and three players on the Second-Team, showcasing depth and talent across multiple positions.

With three starting pitchers receiving All-Conference recognition, the Golden Rams boast one of the most formidable pitching rotations in the SIAC. Offensively, ASU's lineup is anchored by Addison, Corley, Roberts, and Saavedra, all of whom are expected to play key roles in the team's success.

Albany State enters the season ranked second overall, just behind Spring Hill College, who was selected as the preseason favorite.

Coach Scott Hemmings, the reigning SIAC Coach of the Year, is eager to guide his team to another championship-caliber season.
