Albany, GA – The Albany State Golden Rams will look to continue their hot streak as they prepare to face Quincy University on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at West Campus Baseball Field. The first pitch is set for 2 PM as the Golden Rams aim to build on their momentum following a dominant three-game sweep over Tuskegee University in SIAC play over the weekend.
Riding high on their 3-0 start in conference play, Albany State will be looking to extend their winning streak against a Quincy team eager to bounce back after dropping a 1-2 series to the University of Tampa this past weekend.
The Golden Rams (4-3, 3-0 SIAC) displayed strong pitching and timely hitting in their sweep of Tuskegee, outscoring the Golden Tigers 21-9 over the three-game series.
Matt Delay was a key contributor at the plate, launching two home runs and driving in three RBIs to power ASU's offense. Meanwhile,
Calvin Baker stepped up on the mound, earning two saves in relief to help secure the victories.
Quincy University (2-4) travels to Albany with the hope of bouncing back from a challenging series against the University of Tampa. The Hawks are determined to regain their form and secure a crucial road victory. The last encounter between these two teams took place on February 25, 2017, when Quincy achieved a decisive 12-0 win over the Golden Rams. Albany State University will have the opportunity to avenge that defeat and demonstrate its growth as a program.
