Tallahassee, FL – The Albany State University Women's Cross-Country team competed at the Florida State XC Invitational, finishing 12th out of 15 teams in a competitive field. The Lady Golden Rams delivered solid individual performances on the Apalachee Regional Park course, led by
Nathalia Rowe, who completed the 5K race in 20:26.4, placing 84th overall.
Following closely behind,
Azzaria Brown secured a time of 21:32.8 for a 110th-place finish, while
Dasia Gilyard finished in 112th place with a time of 21:42.8. Each runner demonstrated resilience and determination, making strong strides as they head toward the season's climax.

Albany State will focus on the SIAC Cross Country Championship on Wednesday, October 23, at the Georgia Premier Cross-Country Course in Macon, GA. The Lady Golden Rams will compete in the Women's 5,000-Meter Championship Race, scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. ET, following the Men's 8,000-meter Championship Race at 9:00 a.m. ET.
With the conference championship on the horizon, Albany State is looking to capitalize on its recent progress and put forth a competitive performance at one of the season's most important meets. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Lady Golden Rams as they pursue conference honors in Macon.
