Golden Rams Win Series Against Maroon Tigers

The Albany State University Golden Rams baseball team won their series against the Morehouse Maroon Tigers by winning 2 out of 3 games in Atlanta, Georgia.  The Golden Rams are now (23-7) overall and (21-2) in the SIAC.  The Maroon Tigers are (15-15-1) overall and (13-13) in the conference. 
 
In game 1, the Golden Rams defeated the Maroon Tigers (21-5).  The Golden Rams finished with 21 runs and 16 hits against the Maroon Tigers.  The Golden Rams scored in all 7 innings of the game.
 
Lavoisier Fisher, Hill Corley and Tucker Jordan finished with a home run in the game for the Golden Rams.  Lavoisier Fisher finished with 4 RBIs while Hill Corley and Tucker Jordan had 3 each to lead the Golden Rams.  Tucker Jordan had 4 hits to lead the Golden Rams.
 
Jeremiah Reddell was the winning pitcher.  Reddell improved to (8-0) as he pitched 5 innings and struck out 6 batters.
 
In game 2, the Golden Rams defeated the Maroon Tigers (24-7).  The Golden Rams exploded for 8 runs in the top of the 1st inning and 11 runs in the 2nd inning to jump out to a (19-0) lead after 2 innings.  The Golden Rams added 5 more runs in the top of the 4th inning to extend their lead to (24-0).  The Maroon Tigers scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning and 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to close the gap to (24-7).
 
Lavoisier Fisher hit his 13th home run of the season in the top of the 2nd inning for the Golden Rams.
 
Jonathan Logsdon finished with (2) doubles while Nathan Lloyd and Tucker Jordan hit a double in the game. 
 
Brady Davis was the winning pitcher in the game.  Davis pitched 4 innings and allowed 3 hits while striking out 6 batters.
 
In game 3, the Maroon Tigers won (7-6). 
 
After trailing (3-0), the Golden Rams scored 2 runs in the top of the 5th inning.  Jonathan Logsdon scored on an error to make it (3-1).  Hill Corley scored when Jaelyn Brooks was hit by a pitch to make the score (3-2).
 
In the 6th inning, Chase Karn scored when Jonathan Logsdon hit a single to center field to tie the score at (3-3).  Jonathan Logsdon scored on a Nathan Lloyd single to give the Golden Rams a (4-3) lead.
 
In the top of the 7th inning, Austin Roberts and Lavoisier Fisher scored on a Jonathan Logsdon single to right field to extend the Golden Rams lead to (6-4).
 
The Maroon Tigers scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to defeat the Golden Rams (7-6).
 
Landon Kiefer was the losing pitcher for the Golden Rams.
