The Albany State baseball team 3-game winning streak was snapped by Georgia Southwestern when they were defeated (7-1) on Tuesday evening in Americus, Georgia.  With the loss, the Golden Rams fell to (16-5) overall.  The Hurricanes improved to (14-9) overall. 
 
The Golden Rams scored their only run in the top of the 1^st inning when Nathan Lloyd hit a single to Lavoisier Fisher.  That would be the only run the Golden Rams would score in the game.
 
The Golden Rams did manage to generate 4 hits in the game.  Zane Ross and Nathan Lloyd had a hit for the Golden Rams.  Jonathan Logsdon finished with 2 hits in the game.
 
The Hurricanes finished with 7 runs and 6 hits.
 
Calvin Baker (1-2) pitched 3 innings for the Golden Rams.  Baker allowed 3 earned runs while striking out 3 batters and walking 2.
 
The Golden Rams will be back in action on March 25-26 when they travel to play Benedict College, in Columbia, South Carolina.
