The Albany State Golden Rams baseball team remain perfect at home after defeating the Lane College Dragons twice on Saturday afternoon. With the wins, the Golden Rams improved to (7-2) on the season while the Dragons fell to (0-13). The Golden Rams are now a perfect (7-0) at home.
In game 1, the Golden Rams defeated the Dragons (12-2).
Jonathan Logsdon and
Tucker Jordan led the charge for the Golden Rams. Logsdon went 1-2 with a double, 2 walks, 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Jordan went 3-3 in the game. Tucker hit a double and had 4 RBIs while scoring 2 runs.
Jeremiah Reddell was the winning pitcher for the Golden Rams. Reddell pitched a complete game and allowed 2 earned runs. Reddell allowed 2 hits and struck out 2 batters.
In game 2, the Golden Rams defeated the Dragons (8-2) in 7 innings.
Lavoisier Fisher and
Nathan Lloyd were standouts at the plate for the Golden Rams. Fisher went 4-4 at the plate. Fisher hit (2) home runs and had 2 doubles in the game. Fisher finished the day with 4 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
