The Albany State Golden Rams tennis team defeated the Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes (5-2) on Wednesday afternoon in Americus, Georgia. With the win, the Golden Rams team improved to (2-0) overall on the season. The Hurricanes are now (0-2) overall.
In doubles,
Natalya Ogunwale and
Bianca Leao won (7-6).
Allyah Williams and
Sumana Panauganti won (6-2).
In singles,
Natalya Ogunwale won her match (6-2 & 6-2).
Bianca Leao won (7-6 and 6-2).
Carla Sorroche defeated her opponent (6-3 and 6-1) while
Sumana Panauganti won her match (6-1 and 6-3).
