The Golden Rams fell to (16-13) overall and (15-3) in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference after being upset (3-0) by the Benedict College Tigers on Friday evening in Columbia, South Carolina.
With the win, the Benedict College Tigers improved to (15-7) overall and (9-7) in the SIAC.
The Golden Rams lost set 1 by the score of (25-16). The Tigers also defeated the Golden Rams in set 2 by the score of (25-13). In set 3, the Golden Rams lost (25-15).
Sydney Melton led the Golden Rams with 9 kills.
Kaylin Teasley finished with 5 blocks.
Natalie Onozie paced the Golden Rams with 27 assists and
Jarianis Perez finished with 9 digs.
The Golden Rams will play Edward Waters University at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 31, in Jacksonville, Florida.
