The Golden Rams soccer team started their Peach Belt Conference schedule on the road against the Georgia Southwestern Hurricanes.  The Golden Rams were looking to avenge an early season loss to the Hurricanes.  The Hurricanes defeated the Golden Rams (3-1) on opening day in Albany.
 
Lucia Bustamante scored the first goal for the Hurricanes at the 22:57 mark in the 1^st period to give the home team a (1-0) lead.  Payton Johnson assisted on the goal for the Hurricanes.
 
At the 29:48 mark, Payton Johnson scored to give the Hurricanes a (2-0) lead going into the half.
 
In the 2^nd period, Krystal Elie scored (2) goals off of penalty kicks to extend the Hurricanes lead to (4-0).
 
As a team, the Golden Rams finished with (5) shots, (6) saves, (2) corner kicks and (10) total fouls in the game.
 
The Hurricanes ended the game with (13) shots, (2) saves, (5) corner kicks and (18) fouls.

The Golden Rams fall to (0-4) on the season while the Hurricanes improved to (4-2-1) overall.
