The Golden Rams women's soccer team was defeated (4-0) by the Middle Georgia State University Knights on Sunday evening on the ASU West Campus.  The Golden Rams fell to (0-3) while the Knights improved to (3-2-1) on the season.
 
The Knights scored their first point when Sofia Rosenqvist scored to give them a (1-0) lead.  The second goal of the half was scored by Tatjana Steinau.  Her goal gave the Knights a (2-0) lead at the half.
 
Jade Elling scored the third goal for the Knights at the 61:49 mark in the contest.  The fourth and final goal for the Knights was scored by Jamya Brinson.
 
The Golden Rams will return to action on Wednesday, September 14.  The Golden Rams will travel to Americus, Georgia to play the Georgia Southwestern University Hurricanes at 7:00 pm.  The Hurricanes defeated the Golden Rams (3-1) in the season opener on Thursday, August 25.
