The Albany State University Golden Rams baseball team defeated the Morehouse Maroon Tigers (3-0) at the ASU West Campus on Friday.  The Golden Rams improved to 19-7 (18-3 in the SIAC).  The Tigers fell to 7-18. 
 
The Golden Rams got on the board in the 2^nd inning when Nathan Lloyd scored on a wild pitch.  That gave the Golden Rams a (1-0) lead.  Lavoisier Fisher scored in the 3^rd inning when TJ Thomas singled to right field to give the Golden Rams a (2-0) lead.  The Golden Rams final run came when Nathan Lloyd singled to left field in the 7^th inning.
 
The players of the game for the Golden Rams were TJ Thomas, Nathan Lloyd and Jeremiah Reddell.  TJ Thomas was 2-5 from the plate.  TJ scored a run, had a RBI and stole a base.  Lloyd was 2-4 from the plate.  Lloyd scored a run and had a RBI.  Reddell shutout the Maroon Tigers.  Reddell finished with 8 strike outs and only allowed 6 hits.  Reddell improved to (6-2) on the season.
 
The Golden Rams have now won 7 games in a row.  The Golden Rams and Maroon Tigers will play a double header on Saturday, April 9.  The first pitch is scheduled at 1:00 pm.
