On Tuesday, February 2, 2022, the Albany State University Athletic Teams celebrated Division II Day by participating in a community service event entitled "ASU Athletics Goes Green." A total of 27 student-athletes from our 11 Division II sports participated at the Crossroads Plaza on Ledo Road in Albany, GA.

The student-athletes passed out reusable bags to shoppers to assist with keeping our environment safe. They also assisted customers with putting their groceries in their cars and returning their shopping carts.

Indeed, the Golden Rams celebrated DII Day by being of service in the community and putting a smile on the shoppers faces. It's always a good feeling to give back to the community who has given so much to our athletic programs and student-athletes.
