ATLANTA, Ga. (November 11, 2025) – The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced its 2025 Football All-Conference Teams and Individual Awards on Tuesday, as voted on by the league's head coaches. Following a dominant regular season and a first-place conference finish, Albany State University earned several top honors, headlined by quarterback
Isaiah Knowles being named the SIAC Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.
The Golden Rams, who finished the regular season 9-1 overall and 8-0 In SIAC play, led all programs with eight total selections, including six First Team honorees. Albany State's offensive line was especially recognized for its dominance, with
Noah Stovall (Jr., Warner Robins, Ga.),
Leon Wesley (So., Powder Springs, Ga.), and
O'Shea Stroman (So., Lithonia, Ga.) all earning First Team All-SIAC honors, anchoring one of the conference's most balanced and explosive offenses.
On the defensive side,
Derrick Drayton (R-Jr., College Park, Ga.) was selected to the First Team Defensive Line. At the same time,
Isaiah Morrison (R-Jr., Daytona Beach, Fla.), Jonovan Carr (R-So., Lakeland, Fla.), and
Tyrell Gainey (R-So., Orlando, Fla.) were all recognized on the Second Team for their consistent impact throughout the season.
In addition, running back
Tiant Wyche (So., Jacksonville, Fla.) earned Second Team All-SIAC honors after a breakout sophomore campaign. Return specialist
Cameron Watts (Jr., Tyrone, Ga.) earned dual Second Team selections as both Punt Returner and Kick Returner, cementing his status as one of the league's top special teams threats.
Isaiah Knowles: Back-to-Back Offensive Player of the Year
Graduate quarterback
Isaiah Knowles (Tampa, Fla.) becomes one of the few players in SIAC history to win the Offensive Player of the Year award in back-to-back seasons, solidifying his place among the conference's elite. Known for his poise, leadership, and precision passing, Knowles orchestrated Albany State's high-powered offense, which led the SIAC in total offense, scoring, and passing efficiency.
This season, Knowles guided the Golden Rams to one of their most successful campaigns in recent history, highlighted by a 31-3 victory over Benedict College to secure the program's first SIAC Championship hosting berth since 2019. His ability to command the field and deliver in key moments has made him a cornerstone of Albany State's success and a respected leader both on and off the gridiron.
