With the SIAC East Division #1 seed on the line, the Albany State Golden Rams volleyball team was defeated (3-0) by the Edward Waters University Tigers in Jacksonville, Florida.  The Tigers snapped the Golden Rams 6-game winning streak.  The Golden Rams fell to (16-7) overall and (15-3) in the SIAC while the Tigers improved to (22-9) overall and (13-2) in the conference. 
 
The Golden Rams lost in 3 sets to the Tigers.  The Golden Rams lost in set 1 (25-23), set 2 (25-19) and set 3 (25-15).
 
The Golden Rams finished with 57 points, 35 kills, 15 attack errors, 104 total attacks, .192 hitting percentage, 32 assists, 1 service ace, 8 service errors 6 block assists and 41 digs.
 
The Golden Rams will be back in action against Paine College at 6:00 pm on Thursday, November 3, in Augusta, Georgia.
