In their final home game of the regular season, the Golden Rams defeated the Allen University Yellow Jackets at the ASU East Campus on Friday evening at The Jones Brothers Health, Physical Education and Recreation Complex.  
 
With the win, the Golden Rams improved to (16-6) overall and (15-2) in the SIAC.  The Yellow Jackets fell to (12-14) overall and (6-10) in the conference. 
 
 In set 1, the Golden Rams jumped out to a (12-8) lead over the Yellow Jackets.  With the score (14-9), the Yellow Jackets called a timeout to regroup.  After the timeout, the Golden Rams went on a 11-5 run to win (25-14).
 
The Golden Rams jumped out to a (15-8) lead in set 2.  A strong defensive effort by the Golden Rams propelled them to a (25-9) win over the Yellow Jackets.
 
In set 3, the Golden Rams scored early and often as they raced out to an (8-2) lead over the Yellow Jackets.  The Golden Rams extended their lead to (18-8) over the Yellow Jackets.  The Golden Rams won set 3 by the score of (25-12).  
 
Sydney Melton led the Golden Rams with (10) kills.  Chelsea Doswell finished with (18) assists for the Golden Rams.  Hailey Elyicio had (11) of the Golden Rams 41 digs.
