The Albany State University Golden Rams will be back on the road this Saturday at 5:00 pm when they play the Savannah State University Tigers in Savannah, Georgia.  The Golden Rams will enter the game with an overall record of (5-2).  The Golden Rams are (3-1) in the SIAC.  The Tigers are (3-4) overall and (2-3) in the SIAC. 
 
Both teams will be looking to rebound after tough conference loses on last weekend.  The Albany State Golden Rams 4-game winning streak was snapped when they lost (24-20) to the Benedict Tigers on Homecoming at the ASU Coliseum.   The Savannah State Tigers lost (21-12) to the Clark-Atlanta Panthers on Saturday for the Panthers' Homecoming Game.
 
On the season, the Golden Rams offense is averaging 30 points per game. The Golden Rams will enter the game averaging 195 yards passing and 186 yards rushing per game.  The "Dirty Blue" defense is only allowing 13 points per game.
 
Dionte Bonneau has completed 73 passes in 137 attempts for 1229 yards and 8 touchdowns.  Bonneau has also rushed for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns.  Marcuis Fulks is the leading rusher for the Golden Rams.  Fulks has 89 rushes for 451 yards and 6 touchdowns and is averaging 5.0 yards per carry.  Joe Shorter lead the Golden Rams in receiving.  Shorter has 18 receptions for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns.
 
The Tigers offense is averaging 17 points per game while giving up 21 points per game.  The Tigers will enter the game averaging 128 yards passing and 134 yards rushing per game. 
 
JT Hartage and Jadon Adams are the leading passers for the Tigers.  Hartage has complete 35/55 passes for 443 yards.  Adams has completed 37/69 passes for 442 yards.  Adams lead the Tigers in rushing with 421 yards.  Da'Shun Mitchell is the leading receiver for the Tigers.  Mitchell has 28 receptions for 333 yards and 2 touchdowns. 
 
The Golden Rams and Tigers last played on Saturday, October 23, 2021.  On that day, the Golden Rams defeated the Tigers (30-0).
