ALBANY, Ga. -The Albany State University baseball team is set for its 2020 home season opener as they host the Bears of Truett McConnell University on February 7-8th. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at the Golden Rams Field at West Campus which is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, Georgia 31705.

Albany State enters the contest yielding a 1-1 decision in its season opener in Franklin Springs, Georgia. The Golden Rams fell 6-5 to the Tigers of the University of West Alabama on February 1^st. Next, ASU faced the Lions of Emmanuel College where they collected a 5-4 victory.

Truett McConnell Bears
Truett McConnell enters the contest with a 3-2 record on the season. The Bears fell 6-4 to Southern Wesleyan University on February 4^th. 
 
What's Next?
The Golden Rams will return to the field on February 8^st in doubleheader action as they will face the Truett McConnell at 1 p.m. to close out the weekend series.
