Box Score EMMANUEL, Ga. - The Golden Rams in its second game of the season saw the host Emmanuel College build an early (0-2) lead in the first two innings but ASU answered in the fourth and fifth innings to cruise to a 5-4 victory over EC. With the victory the Golden Rams collected is first season of the season. 


The Lions of Emmanuel College jumped out to a early 0-2 lead on a homerun by J. Roberts in the bottom of the second inning. The Golden Rams answered in the third inning to tie the game 2-all.  

ASU answered in the top of the fifth inning with Travis Ray Jr. securing a home run and inning plating one run to edge the lead (4-2). Keeping the same momentum ASU added another run in the six inning to extend the score 5-2.   

Despite a late rally from Emmanuel College who added two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning the ASU collected the 5-4 victory. 

Malik Barrington started things off for ASU on the mound pitching four innings, allowing only three hits, two runs, three walks and six strikeouts. Blaylor Galice recorded the win in 2.1 innings of work allowing one hit, two runs, two walks and three strikeouts.
