BASEBALL CENTRAL: Albany State Baseball at Benedict College

ALBANY, Ga. (March 29, 2019) -The Albany State University baseball team (16-15, 8-0 SIAC) will travel to Columbia, South Carolina for a four-game Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup against the Tigers of Benedict College on March 30-31st. First pitch is set for 12 p.m. at Tigers Field which is located at 1600 Harden Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29204.

Need to Know
The Golden Rams enters the contest securing its weekend Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series victory (13-3, 19-2, 0-1, 17-3) over the Panthers of Clark Atlanta University on March 22-23 at the Golden Rams Field. 
  
Scouting Report
Benedict College
Benedict College (8-6, 5-1 SIAC) enters the contest falling 11-3 to USC Beaufort in a non-conference baseball game on March 27th. The last time the two schools met was last season on March 24-25th where the Golden Rams yielded a 2-1 decision in the series to the Tigers (15-1, 6-0, 8-9).
 
What's Next?
The Golden Rams will travel to Columbus, Georgia for a non-conference matchup against Columbus State University on March 27th. First Pitch is slated for 5 p.m. at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field. Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field is located at 403 Algonquin Dr., Columbus, GA 31907.
