Golden Rams Baseball season ends in SIAC Tournament
OZARK, Ala. — After going unbeaten in conference play during the regular season, Albany State failed to make it out of the loser's bracket in the SIAC baseball tournament Saturday afternoon.
The Rams, top-seeded in the SIAC East Division, lost 10-2 to Stillman, the No. 1 seed in the West Division. The end result is the end of the season for the Albany State baseball team.
Albany State (29-17) fell behind 4-0 in the first inning and could never catch up. Stillman increased their lead to 8-0 with a four-run third inning. The Rams pushed both of their runs across in their half of the fourth but could draw no closer. Albany State managed just seven hits.
