Albany State’s Tiffani Goodman Selected for NCAA Career in Sports Forum

Albany, Ga. – Albany State women's basketball student-athlete Tiffani Goodman has been selected to attend the prestigious NCAA Career in Sports Forum, which will be held May 27–30 at the NCAA National Office in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The NCAA Career in Sports Forum is a highly selective professional development program designed to expose student-athletes to careers in athletics administration and the broader sports industry. Participants engage in leadership training, networking opportunities, and interactive programming with NCAA staff and industry professionals.

A rising senior from nearby Americus, Georgia, Goodman recently completed her first season with the Golden Rams after transferring from Coastal Alabama Community College. A business major with an entrepreneurial mindset, she has made an immediate impact both on and off the court while maintaining a 3.20 GPA.

"Tiffani represents what we want our student-athletes to be about...intentional, driven, and preparing for life after sport," said Director of Athletics Kristene Kelly. "Her selection to the NCAA Career in Sports Forum speaks to her leadership and her commitment to growth. We're proud of her and excited to see how she continues to position herself for success in the business and sports space."

Goodman views the opportunity as a chance to expand her network and gain valuable insight into potential career paths within athletics and beyond. She has aspirations of being a collegiate basketball coach upon graduation.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to represent Albany State at the NCAA Career in Sports Forum," said Goodman. "I'm looking forward to learning from professionals in the industry, building relationships, and gaining knowledge that will help me as I continue to grow my career and business goals."
