Albany, Ga. – The Albany State University Golden Rams Women's Soccer team (1-3, 0-1 PBC) is back in action this week, taking on a pair of tough Peach Belt Conference (PBC) matchups as they continue their 2025 campaign. ASU will first host USC Aiken (3-1-1, 0-0 PBC) on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 4:00 PM in Albany, GA, before hitting the road to face USC Beaufort (5-1, 0-1 PBC) on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 1:00 PM in Bluffton, SC.

After a hard-fought 5-0 loss to Lander University in their PBC opener on Sept. 20, the Golden Rams are looking to regroup and defend their home field at the ASU West Campus Soccer Complex this Wednesday.

GAME 1: ALBANY STATE vs. USC AIKEN

The USC Aiken Lady Pacers enter Wednesday's match with an impressive 3-1-1 record and will be opening conference play against ASU. In their most recent outing, USCA played to a 1-1 draw with Coker on Sept. 17. The Lady Pacers have had the upper hand in the all-time series, holding a 4-0-1 record over the Golden Rams.
The last meeting between the two programs came on Sept. 28, 2024, when ASU came up just short in a 2-1 defeat. With a home crowd behind them and a hunger to flip the script, the Golden Rams will look to snap the series skid and notch their first conference win of the season.

GAME 2: ALBANY STATE at USC BEAUFORT

Saturday's road trip to USC Beaufort will be another challenging test for the Golden Rams. The Lady Sand Sharks currently sit at 5-1 (0-1 PBC), entering the week with strong momentum despite a 2-0 conference-opening loss to North Georgia on Sept. 20. USCB is set to face Clayton State on Sept. 24 before hosting ASU.
The last time these two teams met, on Oct. 19, 2024, USCB secured a 4-0 victory. The Lady Sand Sharks currently lead the all-time series 4-0 over Albany State. However, ASU will aim to shake things up on the road and put together a complete performance to close out the week.
