Albany, Ga. – The Albany State women's volleyball team will return to action on Friday, September 19, as they open SIAC play against Allen University at 7:00 p.m. inside the Jones Brothers HPER Complex.

The Lady Golden Rams (1-8) enter the match with momentum after a thrilling five-set victory over Middle Georgia State in their home opener on Tuesday. Allen comes in looking strong after back-to-back victories, defeating Clinton College (Sept. 16) and Claflin (Sept. 13). The Lady Yellow Jackets will look to carry that success into conference play as they take on an Albany State squad with a strong history in the series.
Series History: Albany State holds a commanding 8-0 series lead over Allen dating back to the program's first meeting. The two teams last faced off on Nov. 9, 2024, with the Golden Rams sweeping the Lady Yellow Jackets 3-0.
