Albany, GA – The Albany State Men's and Women's Track & Field teams are set to compete in the Morehouse Relays, one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious collegiate track and field meets. The event, hosted at Edwin C. Moses Track in Atlanta, GA, from March 27-29, will bring together elite competition from across the Southeast as teams look to make their mark early in the outdoor season.
The Morehouse Relays, established in 1941, has long been a showcase of athletic excellence and sportsmanship, particularly within historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Over the decades, the meet has grown into one of the premier track & field events in the region. After its successful resurgence in recent years, the 2025 edition aims to build on that momentum, offering elite competition across multiple events.
Albany State enters the Morehouse Relays following a strong showing at the Emory Spring Break Classic, where several Golden Rams posted standout performances, including national-qualifying times from
Kibren Moore (200m, 100m) and
Nathalia Rowe (400m hurdles). The team will aim to carry that momentum into Atlanta as they face top-tier competition.

Day One (March 27) – The meet kicks off with the decathlon and heptathlon, testing the versatility of multi-event athletes. These grueling competitions will conclude on Day Two.
