Lady Golden Rams Set to Host Wesleyan College in Midweek Doubleheader

Albany, GA – The Albany State Lady Golden Rams (12-9) will return to action on Tuesday, March 25, as they host Wesleyan College (1-15) in a non-conference doubleheader at the West Campus Softball Field. First pitch is set for 3:00 PM, with Game 2 immediately following.

The Lady Golden Rams enter the matchup riding the momentum of a 2-1 series win over Edward Waters this past weekend. ASU showcased strong pitching and timely hitting to claim back-to-back victories, including a 2-1 walk-off win in Game 3. The Lady Golden Rams will look to extend their success and build on their winning record at home.

Meanwhile, the Lady Wolves of Wesleyan College come into the contest looking to snap a six-game losing streak after falling in consecutive games to Piedmont University on March 23. Wesleyan has struggled offensively this season and will have a tough challenge against Albany State's strong pitching staff.

The all-time series between the two programs favors Albany State, as the Lady Golden Rams swept Wesleyan in their last meeting in April 2024. ASU outscored the Lady Wolves in that series and will look to continue their dominance.
