Albany, GA. – The Albany State University track and field teams are set to compete in the Falcon Classic Multi-Event, hosted by the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama, on March 14-15. The Golden Rams, who have delivered standout performances in their first two meets of the outdoor season—the Eagle Invite and JD Evilsizer Meet—will look to build on their momentum against a strong field of competition.

The meet will kick off with field events beginning at 8:00 a.m., followed by track events at 9:00 a.m. Fans can follow the live results at Xpress Timing to stay updated on the Golden Rams' performances.

Albany State has had an impressive start to the outdoor season, highlighted by top finishes in sprints, hurdles, jumps, and throws. The Falcon Classic Multi-Event will provide another opportunity for ASU athletes to test themselves against high-level competition while refining their performances as the season progresses.

ABOUT ALBANY STATE ATHLETICS
Albany State University is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II-level intercollegiate athletic program. The university currently field teams in 11 sports: women's volleyball, women's tennis, women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, softball, men's and women's track and field, women's soccer, baseball, and football. All teams compete in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), except women's soccer, which participates in the Peach Belt Conference.
