ATLANTA, Ga. – The Lady Rams have enough top Conference performers to fill a small room. Albany State placed six on the All-Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Track & Field Teams.
ASU put a quartet of Zenay Rhaney and Nathalia Rowe on the track side in the 800 meters and 400-meter hurdles, while throwers Sydney Blackburn and Mykhayla Carroll earned the honor for the discus and hammer throw.
The Lady Rams added two others for the All-SIAC Second Team. Sprinter Cadence Cray made the Second Team for the 100 meters, while Rhaney added the 1,500 meters to her resume. Juliana Kern reached the second highest height of the high jump for her Second Team placing while Blackburn and Carroll made the Second Team for the opposite events of the hammer throw and discus.
Kaleah Kleckley was named the SIAC Women's Track & Field Elite 14 Award Winner with her perfect 4.0 GPA. Kleckley will graduate in May after just three years at ASU.
