Albany, GA - Track & Field standouts Mykhayla Carroll, Jonathan Kelly and Zenay Rhaney have been honored as the SIAC Athletes of the Week for their performances at the Georgia Southern Relays.

Carroll, a senior from Loganville, GA, continued her dominating ways in the field events at the 2024 Georgia Southern Relays. She finished first in the discus (36.96m) and shot put (11.37m). She also placed second in the hammer throw (43.03m).

At the 2024 Georgia Southern Relays, Kelly demonstrated speed, taking first in the 400m dash at 49.57 seconds, and showed endurance by finishing second in the 800m run at 1:57.55. This performance highlighted his ability to excel in both sprints and middle-distance events.

Rhaney clinched first place in the 400m with a 1:00.97 finish and third place in the 800m with a time of 2:24.80.

Carroll, Kelly and Rhaney, along with their teammates, are set to compete at the Morehouse Relays on Friday, March 29th, and Saturday, March 30th.
