The Golden Rams lose (1-6) to the Valdosta State University Blazers on Tuesday evening at the West Campus Baseball Field on Opening Day.  With the loss, the Golden Rams start the season (0-1).  

The game scoring started in the 3^rd inning with the Blazers scoring 3 runs coming from home run by Dennis Pierce and a double by Leeandro Alfonzo which add the 3^rd run of the inning.

The Golden Rams responded by adding one run in the bottom of the 3^rd inning which come from a single by Hill Corley which let Dominic Rutigliano score the first run for the Golden Rams.
 
In the 6^th inning, the Blazers added one more run coming from a sacrifice fly ball which let Cason Russell score to make the score (1-4).
The scoring would end as the Blazers added two more runs in the 8^th inning off a home run by  Dennis Pierce.
 
The Golden Rams will be action on Wednesday, as the travel to Columbus State University to take on the Cougars at 4pm at Ragsdale Field.
