Albany State Women’s Soccer Set for Season Finale Against Lander University

Albany, GA – The Albany State University Lady Golden Rams (5-8-1) will close out their 2024 season with an away match against Lander University on Saturday, November 2. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. in Greenwood, SC, as the two teams face off with the series tied at 2-2 dating back to their first meeting in 2019. The Lady Bearcats (6-7-2) claimed the last match-up on October 7, 2023, with a 2-0 victory.

ASU enters the match after recent hard-fought games against Georgia College and Flagler, where the Lady Golden Rams showcased resilience despite falling short. Lander approaches the match following a tie with Georgia Southwestern and a narrow loss to Columbus State, making this finale a highly anticipated contest between two evenly matched-teams.
