Albany, GA – October 3, 2024 – The Albany State University Lady Golden Rams will resume Peach Belt Conference (PBC) action this Saturday, October 5, 2024, when they face the Columbus State University Cougars. The match will kick off at 2:00 p.m. at the Walden Soccer Complex in Columbus, GA.
The Lady Golden Rams (1-7-0, 0-2 PBC) are coming off a tough 0-5 loss to Edward Waters on October 2, and they will be eager to bounce back as they return to conference play. Meanwhile, Columbus State (6-0-1, 1-0 PBC) enters the contest after a hard-fought 0-0 tie against Lenoir Rhyne in their latest outing.
In their previous meeting, the Cougars delivered a commanding 13-0 victory over Albany State, and the Lady Golden Rams will be looking to put up a stronger performance this time around. Despite the challenges, Albany State is determined to compete hard against a formidable Columbus State side and gain valuable experience as they work to build their program.
