Box Score Fort Valley, GA -The Albany State Golden Rams delivered a dominant 3-0 victory over conference rival Fort Valley State tonight, showcasing an impressive team performance.
Lianette Burgos led the charge with 18 assists and added eight digs, orchestrating the offense with precision.
Kennedi Wallace was also a standout, finishing the match with 12 kills and four digs.
Jarianis Perez and
Sydney Melton each contributed significantly to the win; Perez recorded nine kills and seven digs, while Melton added eight kills and seven digs.
Talia Smith anchored the defense, chipping in with seven digs of her own to keep the Fort Valley offense at bay.
With this win Albany State improves to 10-6 overall, 8-3 SIAC. Meanwhile, Fort Valley drops to 9-3 overall, 7-3 SIAC.
