The Albany State Golden Rams track and field teams participated in the Life University Last Chance Meet on Friday, May 5, 2023.  The meet was held at 1415 Barclay Circle, Marietta, GA 30060.  The Albany State women finished in 9^th place with (18 points) while the Golden Rams men finished in 11^th place with (19 points).
 
The Life University women finished in 1^st place with (111 points).  The were followed by Unattached (64), Columbus State (57), Keiser (49), Emory (48), Columbia, SC (24), Truett-McConnell (24), The Winner Circle (20), Albany State (18), Garden State TC (16), Berea (15), Tennessee, Wesleyan (14), Georgia Elite (12), Kennesaw State (10), Miles (10), Southern Wesleyan (10), Tracksmith (10), Velaasa Track Club (10), Voorhees (7), Lane (6), TAG Sports (6), Montreat (4), Talladega (4), Reinhardt (3), Solar Elite Athletics (3), HAMteam Huntsville (2) and Oxy athletics (2).
 
Sydney Blackburn won the Women's Discus with a mark of 45.14m.  Nathalia Rowe finished 2^nd in the Women's 400 Hurdles with a time of 1:02.65.
 
The Life University men finished in 1^st place with (85 points).  They were followed by Unattached (84), Keiser (59), Emory (53), Columbus State (50.5), Thomas (GA) (39), Tennessee Wesleyan (34), Southeastern U (33), Reinhardt (32.5), Truett-McConnell (24), Albany State (19), Montreat (17), Voorhees (16), Berea (12), Oxy athletics (11), ALTIS (8), Auburn (8), Talladega (7), Union College (6), Kennesaw State (5), TakeOff (4) and Maryville (Tenn) (3).
 
Jayvon Hutchinson finished in 3^rd place in the Men's 110 Hurdles with a time of 15.15.  The team of Jordan Smith, Ed Gilbert, Shannon Carter and Kibren Moore finished in 3^rd place in the Men's 4x100 Relay with a time of 41.18.
