The Albany State Golden Rams women's track and field team finished in 4
th place at the 2023 SIAC Track & Field Championship on April 27-29, in Atlanta, Georgia. The Golden Rams competed in the three-day championship event at the Edwin Moses Track on the campus of Morehouse College.
Benedict College finished in 1
st place with 190 points. The Tigers were followed by Clark-Atlanta with (113), Savannah State (102), Albany State (100), Fort Valley State (78), Central State (69), Lane (51), Tuskegee (34), Spring Hill (25), Kentucky State (16), Allen (13), Miles (5), Edward Waters (4) and LeMoyne-Owen (2).
Sydney Blackburn won 1
st place in the Women's Discus with a mark of 45.47m. Sydney Blackburn finished in 3
rd place in the Women's Hammer Throw with a mark of 39.80m.
Nathalia Rowe won 1
st place in the Women's 400M Hurdles with a time of 1:01.51. Nathalia Rowe finished in 2
nd place in the Women's 400M with a time of 55.69.
Kaleah Kleckley finished in 2
nd place in the Women's Heptathlon.
Kiyah Pittmon finished in 2
nd place in the Women's 800M with a time of 2:21.26.
Zamya Rhaney finished in 3
rd place in the Women's 3000M Steeple with a time of 13:08.17.
