The Albany State Golden Rams track and field teams participated in the 2^nd Annual University of West Georgia Legends Track and Field Invitational on April 1, 2023. 
 
The Golden Rams women finished in 6^th place out of 18 teams.  West Georgia finished in 1^st place with a score of 137.5.  They were followed by Columbus State (76), Clayton State (65), Clark-Atlanta (57.5), Life (53), Albany State (46), Fort Valley State (45), Shorter (39), Unattached (39), Pace Athletics (20), Georgia College (14), Covenant (13), Brewton-Parker (12), Reinhardt (8), Denmark Tech (4), Oglethorpe (4), Marion Military Institute (2) and Thomas (1).
 
Nathalia Rowe won the 400 Meters with a time of 57.23.  Nathalia Rowe won the 400 Hurdles with a time of 1:03.63.
 
Kiyah Pittmon finished 3^rd in the 800 Meters with a time of 2:25.20.
 
The team of Kennedy Simmons, Termetrius Stone, Zenay Rhaney and Jerrianna Tate finished 2^nd in the 4x400 Relay with a time 4:23.22.
 
The Golden Rams men finished in 4^th place out of 18 teams.  Columbus State won the meet with 118 points.  They were followed by Morehouse (84), Clayton State (66), Albany State (61), Reinhardt (58.5), Life (44), Brewton-Parker (32.5), Thomas (31.5), Fort Valley State (29), Unattached (29), Shorter (26), Denmark Tech (20), Oglethorpe (14.5), West Georgia (14), BeyondReal Athletics (10), Marion Military Institute (10), Covenant (8) and Most Valuable Athletics (7).
 
Kibren Moore won the 100 Meters with a time of 10.46.  Ed Gilbert finished 2^nd with a time of 10.66.
 
Ed Gilbert won the 200 Meters with a time of 21.10.
 
Jayvon Hutchinson won the 110 Hurdles with a time of 15.05.
 
Jordan Smith won the 400 Hurdles with a time of 55.26.
