The Albany State Golden Rams soccer team was defeated (13-0) by the Columbus State Cougars on Wednesday evening at the ASU West Campus Soccer Complex.  The Golden Rams fell to (1-11-1) overall and (0-6-1) in the conference while the Cougars improved to (9-3-1) overall and (6-0-1) in the Peach Belt Conference. 
 
A plethora of Cougars scored goals against the Golden Rams.  Brooke Ouimette scored 2 goals, Abigail Akerson scored, Emma Beddow recorded a goal, Anna Grady scored twice, Sarah Hungerford scored, Lizz Forshaw tallied a goal, Vanessa Aviles recorded a goal, Lauren Barnes scored 2 goals, Kenna Armitage scored as well as Kendal Coreil.
 
The Golden Rams tallied 3 shots, 17 saves and 6 fouls while the Cougars finished with 57 shots, 1 save, 21 corner kicks and 14 fouls.
 
The Golden Rams will be back in action against Flagler College at 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 21, at the ASU West Campus Soccer Complex.
