Golden Rams Remain Winless

The Albany State Golden Rams women's soccer team remain winless on the season after losing to the University of South Carolina Aiken (5-0) on Wednesday, September 28, at the ASU West Campus Soccer Complex.  The Golden Rams are now (0-7) overall while the Pacers improved to (3-2-3) overall. 
 
Megan Gettys scored 2 goals in the 1st period to give the Pacers a (2-0) at the half.  Gettys scored at the 5:21 and 29:31 marks, respectively.
 
In the 2nd period, Sonya Villarreal scored at the 45:14 mark to extend the Pacers lead to (3-0).  Megan Gettys scored her 3rd goal of the game at the 64:14 mark to give the Pacers a commanding (4-0) lead.  Shiloh Pirro scored at the 74:23 mark to give the Pacers a (5-0) advantage over the Golden Rams.
 
The Golden Rams have lost 7 straight games and will look to get their first win of the season when they travel to Greenwood, South Carolina, to play Lander University at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 1.
